There will be yummy Refreshments and a chance to win 2 tickets to the K-W Symphony , a value worth $100!!!

Now, here comes the exciting news -- our first club general meeting in 2008 will be on January 29th! As usual, during the meeting we will be talking about the plan and goal for this winter term.

Everybody is welcome!! There will be refreshment!!! So don't miss it!

Still actively recruiting performers!! If you would like to performer, please email Charles Fung (charlescfung@hotmail.com) with your name, the name of your piece(s), the composer(s) of your piece(s), and the approximate duration of your performace. Performers of all skill level are welcomed! (don't be shy!). You have until Saturday morning to do this!

First General Meeting of the UW Music Club

TO ALL NEW AND EXISTING MEMBERS: We will be holding a MANDATORY meeting for the Music Club at 5:00 p.m. next Tuesday (25th September, 2007), at SLC 2143 (the large meeting room on the second floor of SLC). In this meeting, we will discuss the mandate of our club, our tutoring system, our music trip, our end-of-term recitals, as well as many NEW events and ideas we've come up with for this term. This is an important meeting, please attend! :)

UW club teacher's schedule and availability has been reset, the reset is done at the beginning of every new term, so if you'd still like to be a music teacher, please sign up again.

Winter 2007 Recital on Saturday

This is just a reminder that the Winter 2007 recital will be held at Chapel of Conred Grebel University college this Saturday. during the recital, a raffle will take place, and there will also be refreshment provided at the end of the recital. This is a great experience if you love music and would like to perform in front of an audience.

Any one who is still interested in performing for the recital are welcome to sign up, make sure you include your name, Student ID, the name of the piece and the approximate duration of the music in the email, and send it to Charles Fung at charlescfung@hotmail.com.

Club Meeting On March 14: the Winter Recital Is Coming Soon!

Date: Wednesday, March 14
Time: 5pm-6pm
Where: SLC, Rm2143 (From the main stairs enter the top level (loft) of SLC, and room 2143 will be the large room at the rightmost of the area)

In the meeting, we will be going over some details regarding to the upcoming recital, as well as some discussion on where this club is heading in the future.

Join us for the recital! This is a good chance for you to play in front of your peers, and show your talent! The recital will be held tentatively on Saturday March 24, 2007, at 7:00pm, in the Chapel at Conred Grebel University College.
